I got to spend a week out in another desert area (Quartzite) for my birthday. I saw the London Bridge in Lake Havasu where I got a quilt order over the phone from Florida!
I just had to check out a local quilt store. The owner was wonderful and their prices were even more so.
We decided to stay another day because of bad weather moving in. We are so glad we made that choice....We had snow at home (Tucson)! When we did get home we still had snow but parking the rig was no issue but we were glad to get into the heated house.
After catching up with laundry I got to finish this beautiful quilt and will be mailing it to California soon.
I then wrapped up the week with a still life painting......
