The clouds looked ominous as we drove into Oklahoma. Yes, tornado alley. We stopped at “Sewciety” quilt store in Norman. This shop is sister owned who are very nice. They carry lots of fun modern fabric. Classes are offered and they have an online store. Parking is minimal so no big rigs here. We traveled on to Moore, Oklahoma, and stopped at “Keepsake Fabric and Quilts”. It’s under new ownership and they will be changing their name. The shop is small but the fabric is great. They carry a lot of name brands. They have a HUGE classroom and they hold retreats. They are out in the country so don’t give up looking for them. Our next and last stop of the day was in Sapulpa, OK. “Quilt Styles” has beautiful southwest fabric, which is difficult to find is this area….go figure. This is a one woman show but she is very nice. She is part of a shop hop going on now. Parking is good for cars only.
We finally made it to Missouri!
