We ended the day late by spending time with my brother and his girlfriend. I loved hearing their stories. They purchased a new camper and are excited to hit the road. We started our day with a walk on the SUNDIAL BRIDGE (we will be back to see and do all that’s there) we then drove to the diary shop of the day, to see SEW SIMPLE and Bubba (a very cute dog) in Redding. They have a cute shop and great fabric and nice owner. I’d love to go back. Our second stop was to the BLUE IRIS in Palo Cedro. They have a super huge classroom, great fabric, and friendly people. Our third stop was in an old town Main Street kinda place. It used to be an old court house with the jail downstairs, it then was turned into the “Golden Rule” department store it is now called PLAZA QUILTING & SEWING CENTER. They have been there for 20 years! Parking is best in back but the personality is at the front of the store. Good fabric and people. Our last shop stop was at PIECE BY PIECE FABRICS in Eugene Oregon! (Finally made it to Oregon!) they have been around for 14 years. Cute shop near the University of Oregon.
