After having a life hiccup at the last retreat until October, we went forward. (not saying without a hitch but it did move forward) These ladies were up early to quilt, eat, quilt, hot tub, quilt, eat, quilt, dinner, shopping for more fabric, massages and quilt until who knows when??? They were quilting queens. A mama dove decided to nest in the worry basket.
The classes have been rescheduled:
A special for May is a free class. It's ladies choice....Either April 30th or May 14th and we will be doing the second Block of the Month. The first one is an Easter Bunny at 10am on the 30th ($30). The second block is a flower for Mothers Day at 1pm on the 30th OR the 14th at 1pm. June Block of the Month June 4th (BOM) will be a man's shirt with a tie. All the blocks make cute wall hangings so you don't have to make the 12 blocks into a quilt, but that is the goal. We will taking about finishing the quilt as we go along.
MAY 7TH at 1pm is the annual Mother's Day sew. soak, and snack event. $40 for the day Starting at 1pm...but reservations are required. You may bring your swim suit and really soak or just soak you feet. You also will receive a Mary Kay Satin Hands treatment with a free purse sized hand cream. Bring Daughters, Mom's, Sisters, Aunts, and Grandmas, friends and even sons. We will be making a bright summer bag. All supplies included.
June 11th at 9am to noon is a Citrus Pillow class....$30.....all supplies included.
July 9th is still in the planning stage but the BOM will be at 1pm. July 11th will be the adult sewing class...Project to be announced
